Remain in My Love

Scripture

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.”—John 15:9 ESV

Devotional

Jesus invites His disciples to remain in the love He has already extended to them. The love shared between the Father and the Son becomes the measure of Christ’s love for His people—steady, holy, and complete. Our life with Him grows from receiving this love again and again.

To abide in Christ’s love means allowing His words, presence, and finished work to shape the way we see ourselves and our circumstances. His love becomes the place where our hearts settle, especially when fear, disappointment, or insecurity threaten to define the day.

As we remain with Jesus, His love begins to form our obedience. We learn to trust His commands because we know the heart of the One who gives them. Faithfulness grows through a life rooted in the love of Christ and sustained by His Spirit.
