Scripture Focus:
“And he was very thirsty, and he called upon the Lord and said, ‘You have granted this great salvation by the hand of your servant, and shall I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?’ And God split open the hollow place that is at Lehi, and water came out from it. And when he drank, his spirit returned, and he revived.” – Judges 15:18–19 (ESV)
Devotional Reflection
Samson, known for his supernatural strength, found himself completely drained. In his exhaustion, he cried out to God—and God provided water to revive him. Even the strongest among us are weak apart from God.
This moment reminds us that victory and salvation do not come from human power but from the Lord who sustains us. When we reach the end of ourselves, God meets us with His provision. He refreshes weary souls, breathing new life into those who depend on Him.
Inhale Truth, Exhale Trust
Even in our weakness, God delights to meet us with His strength.
Breath Prayer:
Inhale: “Lord, You are my strength…”
Exhale: “…revive my weary heart.”
How to Practice a Breath Prayer:
Breathe deeply and slowly, focusing on God’s nearness. As you inhale, confess your dependence on His strength. As you exhale, ask Him to restore and refresh you. Let this prayer steady you whenever you feel depleted.
