“Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it.’”

Guidance often comes quietly—through Scripture, through the Spirit’s gentle nudges, through a sense of peace or a timely word. When you pause long enough to listen, you begin to notice God’s steady direction in places you once rushed past. Guidance doesn’t always give the whole path; sometimes it’s simply the next faithful step.

Respond — Today’s Practice

Ask God one simple question today:

“Lord, what is the next right step You want me to take?” Sit in stillness for a moment.

Pay attention to the thought, clarity, or calm that rises.

Lord, guide my steps and give me a heart that listens.
