The Next Faithful Step

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”—Psalm 119:105 ESV

Devotional

Jesus faithfully leads those who follow Him. His Word gives enough light to recognize the path beneath our feet, and His Spirit guides us as we respond in trust. We may not see how every part of the journey will unfold, but we can know the One who walks before us.

Faithfulness is often expressed through the next clear act of obedience. Christ may be leading us to complete the work before us, initiate a difficult conversation, extend forgiveness, remain patient, or continue praying. These ordinary decisions become part of a life directed toward Him.

The next step does not depend on having perfect confidence or complete understanding. Jesus supplies grace as we move forward with Him. Each act of obedience strengthens our trust and prepares us to receive whatever He reveals next.
