Kept Until the End
Scripture
“Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy.”—Jude 24 ESV
Devotional
The Christian life begins with the grace of Jesus, continues through His sustaining presence, and ends in His faithful keeping. Jude directs our confidence toward the One who is able to preserve His people and bring them safely into His presence. Our hope rests in Christ’s power to complete what He began.
Jesus has already carried the full weight of our salvation. Through His death, He bore our sin; through His resurrection, He secured our life; and through His Spirit, He continues forming us in holiness. When we stumble, He restores us. When we grow weary, He strengthens us. When the road ahead feels uncertain, He remains steadfast.
We run with aim and pursue faithfulness because Christ has made us His own. Yet even our perseverance is held within His greater faithfulness. The One who calls us will keep us, and the One who keeps us will one day present us before His glory with great joy.
Reflection Question
How does knowing that Christ is able to keep you change the way you approach the road ahead?
